Ed is a visionary and an accomplished entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in health care tech and service supply chain management. Prior to ReInforced Care, he founded and led OnProcess Technology, a technology enabled managed services provider specializing in supply chain operations, which he built and grew into an award winning global leader. Working with leaders in medical, high-tech, manufacturing, logistics and communications, OnProcess helped transform their supply chain operations with his game-changing ‘power of the process’ approach. By doing that, millions of dollars of inefficiencies for its enterprise clients were eliminated. He recognized that the healthcare industry faced similar challenges and founded ReInforced Care and adapted this transformative approach to CCM and transitional care management. Ed is passionate about helping physicians provide exceptional quality of care for patients through technology and analytics enabled process-driven improvements.
Dr. Dhrumil Shah, Advisor
Dhrumil Shah, MD and Chief Medical Information Officer at Compass Medical, graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and completed his residency program at Hoboken University Medical Center. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Municipal Medical College in Gujarat, India, and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. During 2005, Dr. Shah began as a Resident at UMDNJ, by the time he completed his residency in 2008, he was the Chief Resident. Dr. Shah earned his Post-Masters in Health Informatics from University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). He has a special interest in Complex Disease Management, Clinical Integration of Information Technology tools and techniques to improve Health and Wellness outcomes, Diabetes Management, Geriatric & Pediatric Medicine and Developmental aspects of Human & Health Science.
Tom Carroll, Advisor
Tom Carroll is the Chief Financial Officer at Bay State Physical Therapy. Prior to joining Bay State Physical Therapy, he was the president of South Shore Physician Ambulatory Enterprise. Tom was named the President of the SSPAE in August 2015 after he led the efforts to merge the physician practice where he served as the CEO of South Shore Medical Center. Prior to his role as SSMC’s CEO, Tom was the CFO at the practice for 16 years. In his leadership roles, he has led transformation efforts focusing on improving patient care experiences, physician recruitment and engagement and performance in global payment contracts. Tom is a graduate of Babson College and earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
Dan Gettens, Advisor
As Chief Analytics Officer at OnProcess Technology, Dan Gettens was the architect of their analytics program and methodologies and drove closure on 500 projects in support of marquis clients. Previously, he was Vice President of Global Business for Corporate Software and Director of Global Accounts for Digital and Compaq. His articles on innovative practices have appeared in TechTarget and the online Sloan Management review. Gettens is Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certified and received a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and master’s degrees from Yale University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Christopher Hagar, Advisor
Chris Hagar is an accomplished technical leader and experienced software architect who has led critical projects and teams at Google, Expedia, eBay, and major hospitals. He brings extensive expertise in high-reliability applications, data architecture, systems integration, healthcare compliance and security, business intelligence, and engineering leadership. He served as the CTO for the initial launch of ReInforced Care where he led development and strategic direction for its software and IT platform. Mr. Hagar has a B.S. in Mathematics from Hobart College.
